Shipping & Returns

We have chosen Canada Post as the carrier for all of our orders within Canada and to the U.S.A. (via Expedited Parcel or Regular Parcel for heavier packages). We do not to ship outside of North America at this time. Shipping times will be in accordance to Canada Post's service standards for delivery by Expedited or Regular Parcel to your location (between 3 and 6 business days to most delivery locations).

We offer flat rate shipping options to make it easier for you to determine your shipping & handling costs while you shop - please refer to the table below. All shipping costs include the applicable sales taxes. Please note that we reserve the right to charge additional shipping based on actual shipping rates for certain rural/remote locations; however, we will notify you with the amount of additional shipping charges required before charging you.

We offer free local delivery for the area south of Hwy. 401, east of Dixie Road in Mississauga and west of Jane Street / South Kingsway in West Toronto. This free local delivery option is automatically available for all accounts created with an Ontario shipping address. Please note that if you opt for the free local delivery option and your shipping address is located outside our free delivery zone, we will ship your order out via Canada Post and you will be responsible for all shipping charges. Alternately, accounts created with an Ontario shipping address may also choose free local pick up from our head office in Etobicoke. For both free local delivery and pick up, we will contact you to arrange an appropriate delivery or pick up time.

Most orders will be shipped out within 36 hours of receipt. Once your order has been shipped, we will send you an email confirmation that your order has been sent. Please note that if an item you ordered is out of stock, we will notify you by email and you can decide whether you would like a refund applied for the out-of-stock item or if you would like to wait until we get it in stock. If you indicate that you would prefer to wait, we will ship the in-stock items of your order first and send back-ordered items separately (we will only charge you once for shipping).

Please note that we make every effort to use eco-conscious shipping materials. We also reuse all our packaging whenever possible so don't be alarmed if your order arrives in a box that looks like it was previously used - it probably was!

Canadian Orders

As required by Canadian law, taxes will be applied to your total order (cost of goods plus all shipping and handling), as follows:

U.S. Orders

Your order will most likely be charged customs fees (taxes, duties, processing fees, brokerage fees, etc.). Unfortunately, we have no control over these fees and we cannot estimate them for you for advance consideration. If you are not familiar with the customs fees for cross-border shopping, please check with your local customs office or broker for more information. Unfortunately, we do not issue refunds for customs fees, shipping or the cost of your order if you dispute the customs fees against your order.

It is possible that the delivery of your order could be delayed due to customs processing. If your order does not arrive in a reasonable amount of time, you should check with your local customs office to see if they are holding the package for payment of fees. As well, please note that some customs offices will send a separate invoice for your customs fees that could arrive several weeks after you receive your shipment. Please be familiar with the customs laws in your country before you order.


Like most retailers, we guarantee our products; if an item hasn't met your expectations, you can send it back. If your package contains damaged or defective items, simply email us within 30 days of receipt of product. We will respond to email inquiries Monday to Friday during regular business hours, although we will occasionally check and reply to emails on weekends and in the evening.

Returns and exchanges must be made by mail. Please email us if you have a purchase you wish to return or exchange with the information listed below. You will then receive a return authorization code to include with your returned merchandise. If merchandise is returned without the return authorization code, it will be shipped back to you at your expense.

Please provide the following for returns:

  • original invoice number
  • description of item(s) being returned
  • size of the item's box you will be sending
  • IMPORTANT: Please ensure the item is returned in its ORIGINAL PACKAGING

Sorry, we will NOT accept returns or exchanges on used items or items without original packaging under any circumstances. Unless an incorrect or damaged item has been sent to you, the shipping charge will be your responsibility.

If you change your mind about the product, you should send the package with the freight prepaid otherwise the package will be refused.

Returns and Exchanges

Within Canada

Return items must be sent via insured, prepaid Regular Parcel Post. Insuring your return allows you to track your parcel with Canada Post. Please Note: We cannot accept CODs or courier deliveries.

From outside Canada

Ship goods prepaid, by insured ground shipping. To avoid unnecessary delays, please write "Canadian Goods returning" on the outside of the package. Please Note: Do not return items by UPS or other carriers, as duty and / or brokerage fees will be charged, and your return will be refused by pure | simple LIVING.

If you are requesting an exchange, please remember to include sufficient payment for the return postage. Where applicable, please contact your local customs office for information about any taxes or duties that may be assessed on a return shipment.

Please note: at this time, we cannot accept returns in person.
